Yale University is one of the schools that survived after the American Revolutionary War (1775-1783). Today, Yale is being recognized as one of the greatest universities catering and offering departments and programs to students from different American states and foreign countries.

Yale University Application Requirements

If you want to strengthen your application, prepare these requirements in advance.

  • 1 application for only 1 department or program for Yale University Graduate School (Joint applications are offered in some MA/PhD courses)
  • 500-1000 word Personal Statement of Purpose
  • 3 Letters of Recommendation
  • Transcript of Academic Records
  • GRE and GMAT scores for all applicants
  • TOEFL for non-native speakers of the English language, (the alternative is TOEFL or TSE scores)
  • Special admission requirements depending on the department where you are applying
  • Application fee of $100
  • Financial Statement for all MA/MS applicants
  • Summary of the Science grades in Chemistry and BBS

Yale University Admission Process

Aspiring students can apply on different rounds depending on their capacity to submit the requirements. To be admitted, the candidate should also apply directly to the program, department, or college where the degree will be completed. The admission process at Yale University includes an interview invitation that will be sent via email. Note that the interviews are not requested by applicants but initiated by the admissions committee.
