Pennsylvania University Program. These dermatology fellowship programs will train you to meet the highest standards of this specialty. Cleveland Clinic Program. Spend a year in this program and you can be trained in all areas involved in procedural dermatology. Your training will cover Mohs surgery & reconstruction, hair transplantation, excisional surgery, laser surgery, sclerotherapy, cryosurgery and liposuction. Only 2 fellows are accepted annually. University of California (Irvine) Program. The dermatology fellowship programs have a length of 2 years. For this duration, you will be involved in research projects and clinical trials. Other areas covered in the curriculum include the Mohs Surgery, laser surgery & cosmetics, research and teaching. You will also become proficient in outpatient care in the tertiary level, providing inpatient consultative services for kids and becoming an effective educator. This program can also serve as an excellent foundation should you be interested in a pursuing a career that involves transnational or national research.
